Water pollution paragraph

Water pollution refers to the contamination of water as a result of human-made activities.  Here, water includes for example ponds, lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers, and groundwater. Water is life and clean water is healthy. There is no life on earth without water. This water is called polluted when it is mixed with pollutants. Polluted water does not support human life. Water pollution results in many ways and causes death and disease worldwide. Most of the deaths are caused due to water-borne disease. Farmers use chemical fertilizers and insecticides in their fields to grow more food. The rain and flood wash away some of the chemicals. These poisonous chemicals get mixed with water of river, canal, and pond. Mills and factories often throw waste materials and products into the rivers and canals. Steamers, motor launches, and even sailboats can pollute water by throwing oil, food waste, and human waste into the rivers and canals.  Polluted water includes a wide range of chemicals and pathogens. Pathogens can produce waterborne diseases in either human or animal body. These diseases are diarrhea, Cholera, dysentery, vomiting, skin, ear, respiratory, or eye problems, etc. These diseases can be spread while bathing, washing, and drinking water that causes huge number of death in the world every year. Different water treatment plants can help to prevent water pollution. Some plants have additional systems to remove pathogens from water. Best management plan can also improve water quality worldwide. Water can be purified by boiling it or using activated carbon filters at home.  Creating public awareness is also an important step in preventing water pollution in the world.
