Sports and games are very important to us. Nowadays sports have become an important part of recreation to every people. I am a sports fan. I am fond of all kinds of outdoor games particularly cricket. Among the cricket players, I like Shakib Al Hasan, a Bangladeshi international cricketer. He is an internationally celebrated person. Actually, he is an all-round performer. He holds the record for being ranked first as an all-rounder in the One Day International (ODI) format for 10 years. Shakib scored 6,000 runs and take 250 wickets in ODIs in just 199 matches. In November 2018, to take 200 wickets in Test, he became the first bowler for Bangladesh. At the 2019 Cricket World Cup, Shakib became the first cricketer to score 600 runs and take 10 wickets in a single World Cup. Shakib was born in Magura, Khulna. He started playing cricket at an early age. During boyhood, Shakib was often hired to play for different villages and teams. In 2004, at the age of 17, he was selected by Khulna to play in the National Domestic League. Shakib first represented Bangladesh at the U-19 level, in August 2006 against Zimbabwe. He is very friendly and amicable. I like him very much for having these exceptional qualities in him. He is popular not only in Bangladesh but also all over the world for his qualities.
