The period from sunrise to noon is known as morning. A morning of the winter season is winter morning which is usually misty and cold. In winter morning, nature looks gloomy and everything looks hazy. Things can hardly be seen at a little distance. The sun seems to rise late in the winter morning. People in general and children get up late. It is very comfortable to stay in bed for a long time under the quilt in winter morning. Poor villagers suffer much for want of warm cloth. They make fire in straw and dry leaves to warm themselves. When the sun rises, they enjoy the rays of the morning sun. Some special delicious foods make the winter morning enriched. Fresh date juice is the main attraction of them. Some interesting food items of winter morning are juicy chitai pitha, dry chitai pitha , vapa pitha, sweet cakes, pias with date juice, etc. Though a winter morning is painful to somebody, it is enjoyable a lot.

A cold and foggy morning in the winter season is named as a winter morning. It is naturally different from an everyday morning of other seasons. There is dense fog everywhere. Sometimes the fog is so dense that the sun rays cannot reach the earth through it. As a result, things can hardly be seen even at a little distance. Everything looks hazy. There is a biting cold. Morning chirping sound of birds is not heard. Birds and animals cannot come out. People in general and children get up late. Poor villagers make fire to warm themselves. When the rays of morning sun peep and fall on the dewdrop on grasses, it looks like glittering pearls. The old and poor bask in the sun to warm themselves. Everyone is busy in taking breakfast, dressing and getting ready to go their working places. Some people make delicious and sweet cakes, pias with date juice and many other things. The foggy scene of winter morning vanishes as the day advances. The sun goes up and the nature returns to a normal day. Though a winter morning is enjoyable to the rich, it brings distress to the poor for want of warm cloth.

This causes trouble in the communication system. In winter morning the sun rises in late. The fog disappears when the sun rises. A winter morning brings misfortune to the poor. They shiver in biting cold for want of warm cloth. Some of them make fire in dry straw and leaves to warm themselves. The rich wear warm clothes and enjoy the scene of winter morning. During the winter morning, the animals become helpless. They try to save themselves from the biting cold outside. The people in general and children get up from bed in late. At full night dew drops fall on leaves and grasses. When the rays of the morning sun fall on the dew drops, it glitters like pearls. In winter morning people often enjoy different kinds of ‘pithas’. Delicious sweetmeats are also prepared with date juice. In all respect, though a winter morning is enjoyable for the rich, it brings misery for the poor. They do not get proper food and clothes to meet the curse of winter. The feeling of winter morning vanishes as the day advances. A winter morning is enjoyable and comfortable for the rich but a curse to the poor.
