Leisure time is the time which is free from routine work. It is free from all duties and responsibilities. This time is available for hobbies and other recreational activities. Some village people pass this time by fishing, playing, or gardening. Again, some pass this time by gossiping or wandering aimlessly. I like to draw pictures in my leisure time. I do it because it is my favourite hobby. I also watch cartoon programs on TV and read real or funny storybooks in my leisure time. On holiday, I go to the playground to play with my friends in the afternoon. I think every man should have leisure time in their work. This is because leisure time keeps our body fit for the next work and refreshes our mind.

Leisure refers to the period when people are free from their regular routine work. It is time to spend doing recreational activities. At this time, a man can do whatever he likes best. During leisure time, students spend their time playing, painting, gossiping, or watching TV instead of reading and writing. The village people spend their leisure time playing, swimming, fishing, gardening, walking, etc. Many of them are seen to fly kites in the afternoon, some are seen to play or watch football and cricket games in the field. The housewives are seen to pass their free time by doing hobbies like stitching, singing, gossiping, or watching TV programs. Many older people spend time doing religious work. Again, people in the city spend their leisure time shopping, roaming in the park or zoo, reading books, exercising and watching TV. Some educated people spend their leisure time by doing computing fun. Leisure is very important for our life because it keeps our body fit and refreshes our mind. Spending leisure time gives us the impetus for the next job.
