Paragraph on renewable energy

Renewable energy

Question: Write a paragraph on “Renewable energy” in about 200 words based on the answers to the following questions.

1) What is renewable energy?

2) What are renewable energy sources?

3) How can we get renewable energy?

4) What are the differences between renewable and non-renewable energy?

5) What is the advantage of renewable energy?

Answer: 01

Paragraph on renewable energy

The energy which is collected from renewable sources is known as renewable energy. There are different renewable energy sources. They are sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, biomass, geothermal heat, etc. These sources are constantly and naturally replenished and never run out. We can get renewable energy directly or indirectly from the sun. Solar energy can be used for heating and lighting homes, for producing electricity, and for other commercial and industrial uses. Wind energy can be converted by wind turbine to produce electricity. The energy of flowing water can be converted for producing electricity. Geothermal energy can also be converted to produce electricity for heating homes. Thus the renewable energies can be our alternative energy resources to meet future energy crises. Non-renewable energy is energy that can never be restored to its original state after use. Sources like oil, gas, and coal, etc. are limited. On the other hand, renewable energy can be restored and never run out. There are many advantages of renewable energy. Renewable energy doesn’t harm the environment during its production and consumption. This energy is sustainable endless energy or something that can never run out. We all should be interested in using renewable energy to make a green globe.

Questions:

1)What is renewable energy?

2)Why is it needed?

3)What are the sources of non-renewable energy?

4)What are the different sources of energy?

5)How can we get them?

Answer: 02

Paragraph on renewable energy

Renewable energy means the energy that can be restored to its original state after use. It is also sustainable endless energy or something that can never run out. The sources of this energy are sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, geothermal heat, and these resources are continually replenished. Renewable energy is one-fifth of the amount of energy that all the people of the world use. In 2019, around 11% of global primary energy came from renewable technologies. Using renewable energy has a number of advantages. It requires less overall maintenance.  Also, there is a lower risk of environmental pollution in using renewable energy. Every day people are using huge amounts of energy for which the resources like oil and natural gas will soon be over within the next few decades. Also, the global demand for energy will grow for many reasons in the future.  To meet the energy crisis for years to come, we need alternative sources. The only solution is that renewable energies can stand before us to solve this crisis. This energy can be used in different areas. For heating and lighting homes, for generating electricity, and for other commercial and industrial uses we can use sunlight or solar energy. We can use wind energy for wind turbines to produce electricity. The down flow of water can be captured as hydroelectric energy. Geothermal energy can be used to produce electricity for heating homes. Thus renewable energy can provide us energy for electricity generation, air and water heating, transportation, etc. services. We all should
be highly encouraged in using renewable energy.
