A day Laborer is a man who does the physical work for others to earn his livelihood. He is usually known to the people for his hard work. He leads a very poor life. He does not know how to read and write. He lives in a small hut or slum. He is commonly found in all types of work where hard work is needed. He usually carries heavy loads from one place to another or cuts soil or trees or cultivates the farmer’s land. A day labourer earns little income daily to feed himself and his family. He has no economical support and no luxury of life. He wants only work to earn money, to feed himself and his family. When he does not find work he passes the day with miseries. He cannot buy food. He borrows money from the rich man to buy food. He generally wears a torn and messy shirt. He cannot send his children to school for want of money. So, his children are engaged as a child labourer. A day labourer is necessary in our society. Although they work hard or do dirty work, their work is very beneficial to society. So, we should not neglect them. We all should be kind and humane to him.

A person who makes his daily earnings by working physically for others is known as a day labourer. He is a familiar and helpful person in our society. He is strong physically and knows well about manual labour. But, the day labourers are illiterate and poor people. Generally, we find them in almost all classes of work where there is a need of physical labour. They usually carry load or heavy goods from one place to another or work in the cornfield to help the farmer or work in the garden to cut trees and so on. A day labourer earns little income daily to feed himself and his families. A day labourer has no rest, no joys and luxury in his life. He wants only work to earn money, to feed himself and his family. When he becomes sick, he cannot work. He cannot buy food and medicine. He borrows money from the rich man and passes the days miserably until remedy. Generally, he wears a torn and messy shirt. When he gets huge works he earns more. He can buy good food and clothes for his family. He cannot provide education to his children for want of money. So, his children are employed as child labourer in different workshops. A day labourer is essential in our society. There are few works which are assigned for them. If they stop working, we can imagine the value of their work. So, we should not neglect them. We all should show sympathy and love to them.
