The term “homemaker”, refers to a person who manages the household of his or her own family and home instead of earning money. In Bangladesh, a homemaker is especially a woman but in other countries, the term can be used for a housewife or a househusband. In the United States, a person in charge of the homemaking is called a homemaker. He or she is not employed outside the home. She oversees day to day operations of the house and manages all domestic chores. A homemaker cares for her own home and family by cleaning, cooking nutritious meals, doing laundry, running errands, caring for pets, working with a budget,
organizing, etc. She is her own boss. She enjoys the freedom of creating her own schedule. She realizes the value of her unpaid job. Her job brings the stability of her family. In some cases, a maid or housekeeper is employed to do some of the housekeeping. Another responsibility of homemakers is to maintain the household budget. They may take care of bills, banking, tax filing, and other financial matters. They also make decisions with other household members about buying insurance, taking vacations, getting loans, and other important matters. It is important that the homemaker discover how to best organize each room in the household in order to enjoy a comfortable life. A successful homemaker ensures happiness in the family.
