A street hawker is a person who sells goods on the street in a stationary or mobile state. Generally, he sells inexpensive goods such as fish, fruits, vegetables, clothes, handicrafts, utensils, fancy goods, newspapers, books, and so on. He carries goods for sale in his hands or on his shoulders.  The street hawkers often advertise their goods loudly to attract customers. Also, they wear strange dresses, sing songs, dance, and play music to tell about their items to the customers. The children and women are seen to gather around them with joy.  A street hawker works dawn to dusk to earn his livelihood honestly. He sells the things we need to live well. The service of the street hawkers is also a contribution to our society. Sometimes the street hawkers are seen to sell low-quality items at a high price that creating suffering for the customers. So we should be careful to buy things from any hawker. A street hawker is a poor person. He leads a hard life with little income. We should have a sympathetic eye on them.

All of these products are though, in many cases, low quality; the price is within the purchasing power of the people. As a result, low-income people are attracted to them. A street hawker is a poor person in our society. In the morning, he comes out of the home carrying goods for sale in his hands or on his shoulders. Some of them sell their products in a van driving from one place to another. He advertises his products loudly and tells the people to buy his products. Some of them attract people by performing songs, instruments, dances, etc. Thus, they sell all their products and earn a little money by which they make a living. Their products benefit us to live well. Sometimes, they sell low-quality products at high prices that create sufferings for the consumers. So, we should be careful to buying things from them. A street hawker is a poor person in our society. We should keep a sympathetic eye on them.
