It helps us to understand the different food groups and it tells us how much of each food group we should eat. At the bottom of the food pyramid, there are rice, rute, bread, potato, etc. which gives us energy. Fruits and vegetables are the next level of the pyramid and they have vitamins. On the next level, there are fish, meat, dairy products, beans and they have proteins. At the top of the pyramid, we see fat and oil. But our body does not need them very much.

Food Pyramid is a food chart in the shape of a pyramid that helps us to know about different food groups. In this chart, food groups are shown from the bottom to the top of the pyramid. It is like a hierarchy of food quantity which indicates us how much of each food group we should eat. Rice, root, bread, potato, etc. are placed at the bottom of the pyramid, They are produced from grain. We should eat them much because they give us energy. Fruits and vegetables are on the second level from the bottom. This level contains vitamins that keep us healthy. There are fish, meat, dairy products, beans, and lentils on the next level, They contain huge protein and keep our body strong. Fats and oil are placed at the top level of the food pyramid. They make our food delicious but we do not need them much. Thus food pyramid can help us to make our choice about food.
