Cyclone is the rotation of a large volume air around a central zone of low atmospheric pressure. It has different names like hurricanes, typhoons, and cyclones, etc. Generally, it occurs during the summer months. Most cyclones undergo a life-cycle of 3-7 days. When the temperature increases in an area the air becomes lighter. This results in low atmospheric pressure over a large area and ultimately leads to the cyclone. The cycle of wind occurs strongly over the sea that creates a storm and whips up huge wave. When this wave reaches the land area causes flood covering large areas. Many people die as a result of seawater surging in. Sometimes strong winds can cause a lot of damage. It can flatten homes, knock over trees, overturn vehicles, and blow away the roofs. Cyclone causes so much death and destruction in the affected areas. People suffer from safe drinking water, want of food, and shelter.
