The lion and the mouse story in english written
Long, long ago there lived a lion in a forest. One day the lion was sleeping deeply in his cave. A mouse was playing beside the lion. While playing, unexpectedly the rat ran over the lion’s body.
At this, the lion woke up and roared, “How dare you wake me up!”
The lion caught the mouse with its paw and said,” You are tiny creature, I will kill you.”
The little mouse began to tremble in fear. The mouse prayed to the lion, “Give me life begging for this time. I did not mean to wake you up. I was just playing.”
The mouse again said, “If you let me go, sooner or later I may help you.”
Hearing the promise of the mouse the lion roared again with laughter, “You? Ha ha ha. You are a little creature. How could you help me? ”
The thought of forgiveness awoke in the lion’s mind. He, however, set the mouse free. After a few days, the lion was roaming in the forest. Suddenly it fell into the trap of a hunter. The lion tried desperately to escape from the hunter’s trap but failed.
The lion roared loudly, “Is there anyone? Please save me from danger.”
Fortunately, the same little mouse was passing by the lion. Hearing the lion’s loud cry, the rat came running to help the lion.
The rat found the lion struggling into a trap of a hunter’s net. The mouse said, “Oh, king of the animals! Please don’t be nervous and be quiet. I will save you from danger.”
The mouse began to gnaw the ropes of the net. Thus the mouse cut the net into pieces and the lion became free from the trap.
In this way, the lion was freed from the trap and said to the rat, “Even though you are too little, you are really worthy. You have saved my life from the trap.”
Since then this rat has become a friend of the lion.
